A sneaky-peek and a heads-up on what's going-on behind the closed doors of current health research
Oh dear, nothing new here as, regardless of insisting reading has nothing to do with vision it is still a chicken and egg issue simply because without binocular vision enabling the brains development leading to spatial awareness none of us would be enabled to finesse our motor-control to become mobile, balance and eventually by the time we reach school have the hand-eye coordination to draw and in due course, colour within the lines let alone see letters making-up words and write............

And yet so may children are put at risk of early onset visual disruptions over-exposed to near and close-up use of someone else's display screen as an alterative "pacifier" to a dummy !?Dyslexia doesn't just appear overnight. It seams that regardless of avoiding social media and trying to reasonably control my exposure to my display screens risking self-harming with eye-strain, binocular vision stress, screen fatigue, blurred or worse double vision or other symptoms of CVS (Computer Vision Syndrome) I style need to link across my social media.

By 2050 it is projected that 50% of the Global Population will be effectively one eyed due to over-exposure to the near indoors without sufficient daylight exacerbated by prolonged periods close-up on on sub-optimally calibrated display screens leading to myopic and asthenopic disease resulting in 2D vision.
Blurred of worse double vision used to be a middle age related disease however, 30% of children are now suffering early onset progressive myopia and convergence insufficiency and had no choice but to wear prosthetic glasses providing periods of clearer vision before needed to adjust for progression of symptoms even before their teenage years in school over-exposed to the close-up.

Over-exposure and early onset of eye-strain related visual disruptions from prolonged periods on-screen.
By the time in junior school 50% more children are now experiencing early onset eye-strain, myopic and asthenopic disease presenting in blurred or worse double vision debilitating access to text / reading.
By the time in secondary education they may have been diagnosed as Dyslexic or functionally illiterate effectively excluded from participating in learning.

Just have to ask a simple question, when are schools going to comply with "Accessibility Regulations" ?
Or acknowledge the role of the primary "interface between page and brain" for Access to Text ?
Yes the eyes especially as, 50% more children in the 21st century are presenting with common eye strain or binocular vision stress, suppression in vision of one eye, myopia, convergence insufficiency, astigmatism, strabismus, manifesting in blurred or worse double vision, amblyopia and/or asthenopia.
